A brow lift is a specialized surgical procedure to smooth and lift the brow. A facelift treats the mid-to-lower portion of the face but does not smooth a creased or heavy brow, leading many of our patients to choose this approach. It has the added benefit of subtly raising the eyelids and brows, which can be beneficial if the tissues have stretched, and the eyebrows have descended beneath the orbital bone. If you believe this technique may be effective in your case, we invite you to meet with fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon Dr. Balinger at his private, boutique surgery practice for a personal consultation.
Exceptional Care and Natural Results
Dr. Balinger has established a practice that offers an extraordinary level of patient care and attention. He is among the most accomplished plastic surgeons practicing in the Houston area, and his precision techniques produce results that are remarkably fresh and natural in appearance. Everything possible is done to ensure your journey is comfortable and that you are thrilled with your results. Dr. Balinger uses advanced endoscopic surgical techniques that require smaller incisions and have a shorter recovery time.

Brow lift surgery: Which approach is right for you?
Your custom brow lift at Beauty by Balinger will be performed with advanced techniques.
Traditional brow lift surgery
This approach may be appropriate for people who need an extensive correction of the brow tissues. An incision is placed within the hairline, where the scar will be hidden once healed. The tissues are delicately raised by removing the excess skin and tissue while gently raising the area to create a refreshed, smooth look.
Endoscopic brow lift surgery
An advanced brow lift technique, the endoscopic approach involves placing smaller incisions in the hairline, with the excess skin and tissue removed and the underlying structure repositioned. The recovery time is shorter, and this approach may be ideal for you. The lifting effect smooths forehead lines, lifts the brows, and leaves you looking refreshed.
Temporal (lateral) brow lift surgery
This technique involves placing incisions about one inch long in the hairline, just above the forehead. One advantage is that this procedure requires only local anesthesia. The tissues of the forehead are delicately corrected and lifted to smooth the brow, lift the eyebrows, and smooth crow’s feet.
Trichophytic brow lift surgery
This technique, which is also termed a “hairline” brow lift, involves placing an uneven, wavy incision in the hairline, which leaves a less visible scar. The brows are gently elevated, and horizontal lines and creases are smoothed. This procedure is ideal for those who do not expect to experience natural balding later in life.
